History
The northern portion was originally developed in 1978. The central portion was developed in 2003 and the southern portion was completed in 2007.   

Features
This 17.5-acre neighborhood park is located in the northeastern portion of the city. The park presently provides:
  • two tennis courts
  • basketball hoop
  • restrooms
  • baseball/softball diamond
  • soccer areas
The playground equipment provided on the site accommodates both age groups,  2-5 years and 5-12 years. 

Conservation Areas
Tess Corners Creek and its associated environmental corridor, border the edge of the park.  Prairie vegetation was established on 2-acres of this park to buffer the creek, reduce mowing costs, improve aesthetics, and provide wildlife habitat.  The prairie is maintained with periodic prescribed burning.
