The Muskego Water Bugs, in association with the Little Muskego Lake District, will be hosting the annual July 3rd (not the 4th) fireworks show. There will be no ski show this year. With respect to COVID-19, the City of Muskego will be CLOSING IDLE ISLE FOR ALL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING VIEWING OF THE FIREWORKS! FOOT TRAFFIC WILL NOT BE PERMITTED EITHER. The fireworks will be launched from a barge on Little Muskego Lake, starting at dark, with viewing occurring from land and water, as possible. Limited parking will be available on city streets surrounding the lake, however there will not be any parking for vehicles with trailers. Park Arthur will open at 4 p.m. for parking and fireworks viewing. The sole point of entry will be via the College Avenue entrance as the area of MARTIN DRIVE BETWEEN LANNON DRIVE AND COLLEGE AVENUE WILL BE CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC THE ENTIRE DAY! Garbage cans, hot coal receptacles, and Porta Potties will be available. The Muskego Water Bugs will be directing parking. Viewing of the fireworks will be allowed from anywhere in Park Arthur, including the sledding hill, but EXCLUDING THE BASEBALL FIELDS. Following the conclusion of the fireworks show, ALL TRAFFIC WILL EXIT PARK ARTHUR EASTBOUND ON COLLEGE AVENUE ONLY!
