[ARCHIVED] The Ghost Fleet of Truk Lagoon - Wednesday, October 19th 2016 at 7 pm

Truk Lagoon – a group of tropical paradise islands in the Federal States of Micronesia – offers underwater adventure in shark-infested Pacific waters while wreck diving the mysterious Ghost Fleet of Truk Lagoon.
More than 50 shipwrecks, sunk by the Americans in February 1944 during WWII, litter the seabed. Many have cargo holds full of fighter aircraft, tanks, bulldozers, railroad cars, motorcycles, torpedoes, mines, bombs, boxes of munitions, radios, human remains, and other artifacts.
More than 3,000 people are thought to have been killed and some
divers swear that the wrecks in Truk Lagoon are haunted.
Ghost Fleet of Truk Lagoon was explored by commercial diver Richard Bennett 45 years after the attack took place.
