[ARCHIVED] Suspicious Circumstances

Recently (8-4-13) we received a report of an individual knocking on the front door of a residence in the city asking if they could talk to “Sarah.” The resident informed this person that no one by that name currently lives there. The resident described this subject as a male white individual with a shaved head and operating a silver Jeep with after-market rims.

On August 8th, our department received a report from Brookfield Police Department that they are currently investigating 3 daytime burglaries. While conducting their investigation, it was learned that two male white individuals knocked on the front door of a residence and asked for “Sarah”. The individuals were seen driving a tan or brown SUV, similar to a Chevy Trailblazer.

These subjects were never identified and could be out there knocking on doors to see if residents are currently home. After they determine no one is home, they could possibly burglarize the residence. Please report any suspicious circumstances in your neighborhood and take extra precautions to make sure your homes are locked and secure when away.
