Who are the Friends of the Muskego Public Library?
A non-profit organization of volunteers who work together to promote and expand programs, resources, and services for all people in the community. The Friends Executive Board serves as a link between the Library and the community.
How do the Friends help the Library?
The Friends of the Library augment the library’s services through volunteer tasks, promotion, and funding. They offer a continuous book sale in the entryway of the Library and hold various other fundraising events throughout the year. All proceeds from these endeavors are used to fund programs beyond the limits of the Library budget. Funding from the Friends has sponsored author visits, summer reading and storytime programs, equipment, and much more.
How can I become a member of the Friends?
To become a member, complete and return a membership application. The application is also available at the Library.
Can I donate to the Friends?
Yes! You can make a monetary donation directly to the Friends on their GoFundMe page by clicking the donate button.
