Bay Lane Reconstruction

Background Information

The final plans for the Bay Lane Reconstruction Project are now complete.  While utility infrastructure updates and relocates are currently under way, the main reconstruction will start sometime in mid-May of 2019.  Please see final plans listed below under Design Information.

Construction Notice: Bay Lane Drive Road Reconstruction is to begin on Tuesday May 28th with a final end date of October 15, 2019.

> From May 28, 2019 until June 14, 2019, Bay Lane Drive will be closed no thru traffic from Bridgeport Way to Woods Road. All home owners who live on Bay Lane Drive will be allowed to access their homes. All access to Bay Lane Elementary School will be from the North off of Janesville Road.

> From June 15, 2019 until August 30, 2019, Bay Lane Drive will be closed no thru traffic. All home owners who live on Bay Lane Drive will be allowed to access their homes. Access will be provided to Bay Lane Elementary School ball fields for baseball games during this time period.

> An update for construction and traffic will provided 2 weeks before the start of school in the Fall of 2019.

Please remember if possible try to find alternative routes and avoid Bay Lane Drive during construction. Also if you have to drive along Bay Lane Drive please drive slowly and be aware of children, residents, and workers.”

Public Informational Meeting

The first Public Information Meeting was held July 15, 2015 and included presenting the alternatives below.  The project is budgeted for 2018 design and 2019 construction.  Future public information meetings will be published here.
