The Court has lifted the mask mandate. Masks are no longer required for courtroom proceedings. Anyone who has been exposed to COVID or who is feeling ill should not come to Court in person, but should instead contact the Clerk of Courts at (262) 679-4114 to discuss a safer option to enter his/her plea.
Muskego Municipal Court
Welcome to the Muskego Municipal Court webpage. I hope that you will find the information to be useful.
Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes, the Municipal Court deals exclusively with cases involving city ordinance violations in the form of traffic citations, municipal code violations, and parking citations. Offenses brought before our court are violations that occur within the city limits and are not classified as criminal offenses.
Every person issued an ordinance violation has certain legal rights and responsibilities, including the right to be heard. You are entitled to be represented by an attorney. The court will not appoint an attorney for you and the city does not pay for your attorney fees and expenses.
The City of Muskego Municipal Court provides a court that is fair to both the defendant and prosecution.
Thank you,
Lisa T. Warwick
