Safety City

Learning about safety is fun at Safety City. This preschool (ages 4-7) program creates a child-size city where children use big wheels to learn about road and pedestrian safety. Fire protection, poison prevention, animal safety, and stranger awareness are some of the topics stressed by a qualified teacher, Officer Friendly, guest instructors, and teen volunteers.

There will be two trips to the police department and the fire station. Safety City is sponsored by the Muskego Woman’s Club in cooperation with the Muskego Police Department, Parks and Recreation Department, and the Muskego/Norway School District. All children will receive a youth medium T-shirt. Snacks will be provided, please list any food allergies.

Teen volunteers are also a big part of Safety City. Teens can fill out a volunteer application and submit it to the Police Department.
