Dispatch Center

The City of Muskego Police Department has a Dispatch Center that is staffed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The dispatch center also provides services for the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department.

In the event of an emergency, dial 9-1-1. For all non-emergency related issues, dial (262) 679-4130.

Reasons to call 911 are:

  • Crimes in Progress
  • Fire
  • Breathing Problems
  • Major Accident
  • Drowning
  • Life-Threatening Situations

Non-emergencies include:

  • Minor Accidents
  • Animal Violations
  • Property Crimes (not in progress)
  • Noise Complaints
  • Hunting Violations
  • Traffic-Related Incidents

If you dial 911 from your residence on a conventional landline telephone, you will be connected directly to the Muskego Police Department. However, if you are in the City of Muskego and dial 911 from a cellular phone, you will be connected to the Waukesha County Communications dispatch center, who will then forward your call to the Muskego Police Department.
