Employee Compensation & Benefits

Overview

The City of Muskego administers a market-based pay for performance compensation plan for its employees who are not currently or formerly represented by a union. The City reviews its salary grades periodically to ensure pay competitiveness and support of its employee retention strategies. All other full and part-time employee wage progressions are based off of a step program.

In addition, the City provides a standard Wisconsin municipal employer fringe benefit program which includes health and dental insurance, pension, vacation, compensatory time and sick leave.
